The Prelaw course was set up in 2005 to demystify the process of becoming a lawyer. Our faculty realised that many school-leavers and even university students apply for a career in law with little knowledge of the process. The PreLaw course aims to enhance students’ knowledge of all aspects of this vocational career pathway. The qualified faculty will explain the university selection process and optimise students’ chances of successful application. They will outline the different areas of law and potential career options. The information on the course is delivered in a friendly and supportive environment that encourages attendees to ask the questions that they might not feel able to in more formal situations. The course has no affiliations to law firms or universities and therefore provides unbiased independent information.
